The WSU ORA and IRB will continue to review WSU faculty research involving human participants with no fee for grant/federally funded and non-funded projects. The WSU ORA and IRB charge WSU researchers (funded by the industry sponsor) a fee for the review of industry sponsored clinical trials, or provide the option to have the reviews done by an external IRB.
